Academic Mission

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphics and Design program at Kampala International University equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices underlying visual communication and digital media creation. This interdisciplinary program integrates artistic foundations with advanced technical skills in areas such as 2D and 3D modeling, animation, digital painting, and interactive design. Students will explore theoretical concepts of visual design, color theory, composition, and typography, alongside mastering industry-standard software and development tools. The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative innovation, preparing graduates to tackle complex design challenges. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in fields such as game development, film and animation, user interface/user experience design, and architectural visualization.
