Academic Mission
The Bachelor of Science in Economics and Natural Resources Management is an undergraduate program designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of economic principles applied to the sustainable management of natural resources. This interdisciplinary degree integrates core economic theories with specialized knowledge in environmental science, conservation, and resource policy. Students will explore topics such as ecological economics, resource valuation, environmental impact assessment, and sustainable development strategies. The curriculum emphasizes analytical skills, quantitative methods, and critical thinking to address complex challenges at the intersection of economic activity and environmental stewardship. Graduates will be prepared for careers in government agencies, non-governmental organizations, international development, and private sector roles focused on sustainability.
