Academic Mission
The Bachelor of Arts in Social Pastoral Communication program at Uganda Martyrs University equips students with a comprehensive understanding of communication theories and practices within a faith-based context. This interdisciplinary program integrates theological principles with modern communication strategies, preparing graduates to effectively engage with diverse audiences. Students will explore areas such as media ethics, digital communication, public relations, and faith-based advocacy. The curriculum emphasizes critical analysis of media messages and the development of skills for impactful communication in religious and social settings. Graduates are prepared for careers in church administration, media ministry, community outreach, and non-profit organizations, utilizing their expertise in strategic communication and pastoral care.
