Academic Mission
The Bachelor of Project Planning and Management program at Uganda Management and Technology University (UTAMU), Kungu Campus, provides a comprehensive foundation in the principles and practices of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. Students will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas such as scope definition, time management, cost estimation, risk assessment, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication. The curriculum emphasizes the application of project management methodologies and tools across various industries and organizational contexts. Graduates will be equipped to lead and manage projects effectively, ensuring successful outcomes and strategic alignment. Typical career paths include project coordinator, project manager, program manager, and consultant in sectors such as construction, IT, development, and public administration.
