Academic Mission

The Bachelor of Environmental Health Science program at Uganda Christian University equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between human health and the environment. This undergraduate degree focuses on identifying, evaluating, and controlling environmental factors that impact public well-being. Students will explore principles of epidemiology, toxicology, sanitation, and environmental management. The curriculum emphasizes practical application through field studies and laboratory work. Graduates will be prepared for careers in public health agencies, environmental consulting firms, and international development organizations, developing critical skills in risk assessment and health promotion.
