Academic Mission
The Bachelor of Computer Forensics and Criminal Investigations program equips students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to analyze digital evidence and conduct thorough criminal investigations. This interdisciplinary program integrates principles of computer science, law, and investigative techniques to address the growing challenges of cybercrime. Students will learn to identify, preserve, and analyze digital artifacts, employing specialized tools and methodologies for data recovery and interpretation. The curriculum covers topics such as network forensics, mobile device forensics, malware analysis, and legal aspects of digital evidence. Graduates will be prepared for careers in law enforcement, government agencies, private security firms, and corporate IT departments. Key skills developed include critical thinking, problem-solving, meticulous documentation, and ethical data handling.
